A great city, and a great race The amount of media coverage has been incredible – pages of newspaper coverage every day, and hours (literally!) of TV, sometimes live. Every racer is being treated like a celebrity (I think some are considering moving here!) |

Some world-class Colombian teams SAFETY TREK NATIVOS and BOSI show that they can keep up with the world's best. |
FINLAND wins by over an hour. In spite of penalty, SAFETY TREK NATIVOS hangs on to second, with SOLE just six minutes behind for third. |

Finally... the big go-kart descent! INDER (COL) shows their experience on the go-karts, zooming into CP1 a full 2 minutes ahead of the next team. |

Another murderous ascent to finish the day This time the big ascent of the day was on bike, roads winding incessantly uphill, to rise a 1000 m above the city. |
What a ride! Most racers seemed to enjoy the rappel, a sheer 13 story drop down an office tower right downtown. |
A fast start to Day 2 After starting with a short and fast skate, teams headed to Cerro Nutibara for a beautiful but slippery ride up and then down, the first of many hills that they would face today. |
Finland arrives first again on day 2... but penalties to some leading teams may totally upset rankings. |
